A Wurlitzer spinet piano... Are they any good?

I'm looking at purchasing a Wurlitzer. I don't know how well they last/hold up and I can't find any information on the internet about them. I've never had such a short piano, it's only 40" high, and I don't know how well they hold a tune, tone, or how much better they are versus a full upright. Can anyone help me out. It's a really pretty piano, and will do well for me and my kids, but I don't want to purchase something that won't last. Also, because it IS so small, height-wise, are they going to be something I can teach my kids to play on? I've only ever had full sized uprights and this is the first small one I've looked at. Thanks in advanced!

At 40" it should be a console piano, not a spinet. Wurlitzer made okay pianos; not great, but not crap either. If it doesn't have a drop action (spinet), it should be alright if it has been well cared for. If you're planning on spending more than a few hundred dollars on this, have a tuner give you an assessment of the instrument before you purchase.

... anyone who knows me knows that I've been working on a Wurlitzer (1971) spinet that was last tuned in 86. It was not quite a half step flat. The insides are mostly good, I'm replacing lifter "donuts" this week and will tune it again.
