How can I help my 2 year old overcome her fear of caterpillars?

My daughter encountered a caterpillar on the living room floor last night. She let out this blood curdling scream and she wouldn't stop crying. Every since she saw it last night, she will not walk by herself..she wants to be carried everywhere and anytime someone leaves her alone in the room she starts crying and saying she's scared and saying help me. I've tried just about everything I can think of to help her realize that it won't hurt her and that there aren't anymore in the house and nothing's working. Any suggestions on how I can help her overcome her fear and get her back to normal?

Lol, I know it's not funny but kids are kids and they will be csared of things, my daughter done that over ants. She eventually just grew out of it and forgot about it.
In the mean time just try picking them up and showing her that they are harmless, keep one as a pet also, and let her feed it and name it
