what is the best product to use to coat a plastic model kit when finished?
Hi, I would like to know what is the best thing to use in spray form to coat a plastic model aircraft kit to seal it all and make it so the transfers will not fall off in the future, thanks.
You can buy a can of ready made clear coat from Tamiya, or you can go the more economical route, and spray Future floor wax through your airbrush. Dilute it about 1/2 with water, add some acrylic flat base if you don't want it to be shiny, then you're good to go.
In my 20+ years of building, though, I've never had a problem with my decals falling off. Have you tried using a decal setter on them first? I've used this for years, and love it.
