What plants are can be used with goldfish?
I'm looking into getting a moor goldfish for a 10 gallon tank. I'm in the cycling process right now, adding the ammonia and testing daily. However I got the advice to add a plant to it that the goldfish can munch on occasionally and help with the oxygen levels. Is there any plant that the goldfish can still enjoy without eating it all and still help the tank?

This is my first aquarium, so I'm trying to do everything by the book and on peoples advice. Some of the things I've read In other questions I wonder if they are true.
Does putting a copper coin in the tank really help against fungal infections?
I'm also adding the plant for my own enjoyment, I kind of like the idea of having a plant in my aquarium. I have a lot of experience with ground plants, and learning how to grow them in water sounds intriguing.
glad youre in the fish hobby!
just be SURE thats gonna be the only fish in there since those boogers pore ammonia like water. (well thats an oxymoron since theyre in water)
i've kept these with goldfish and they usually thrive in water temperatures of 72-74:
Hornwort
Java moss
marimoss balls
Id try some driftwood too.
all these are relatively inexpensive and multiply like if they were livebearing fish! lol...
hope i helped.
