Pelican Reproduction

All species lay at least two eggs. Brown pelicans lay two or three eggs in March or April and the incubation period lasts 28 to 30 days. Unlike most birds, pelicans incubate their eggs with their feet. All young pelicans are fed copiously by their parents.
