Am I the only one who sometimes gets scared at night when calming my kids down from a nightmare?
I know it's going to sound stupid, but last night my 3 year old woke up saying there were monsters in her room. I did the whole bit, dreams aren't real, there are no monsters, etc. - we even checked the closets, under the bed, all that. So I turn the lights back off, I'm tucking her back in, and she looks over into the room and says "what's that?" For a split second, I think I'm looking at a child-size demon. My heart races... until I realize it's her freaking toy stroller. So I calmly tell her that's what it is, and "see? Things look different in the dark..." while I'm shaking. I've seen too many of those scary movies where the kids really do see the paranormal and no one believes them... sometimes I psych myself out and get freaked. Am I a total loser or has this happened to anyone else? 
Ha,,, i am not a parent but i have the same problem w/ my sis. especially since her room is FILLED with those creepy dolls that just freakin stare at you! but no... im pretty sure that its fine and your probably still half asleep anyway
but you should DEFINITLY lay off the scary movies....lol...
